ADVISORY BOARD
The Advisory Board members are all successful NAFEP sales associate members and strong advocates of the organization and programs. The function of the Advisory Board is to give advice to NAFEP on client and member issues, and to support various estate planning services in the field.
James (Jim) Flanagan,
CEP, CSA, RFC, CEA® Bentron Financial Group, Naperville, Illinois. Mr. Flanagan has been in financial and estate planning since the late 1980s. As a NAFEP Advanced Sales Consultant, he teaches Certified Estate Advisors® and consults with them in their NAFEP estate planning practices.
Stewart L. Davidson,
CEA® CSFP. President of Association. of Chartered Sr. Financial Planners (ACSFP), Denver, Colorado. Mr. Davidson is a top authority on retirement planning, speaking at seminars and ACSFP classes all over the U.S. He is also a well known insurance continuing ed author and instructor.
Jeffery (Jeff) Reed,
CEA® TEAM Portfolio Advisors, Mission Viejo, California. Mr. Reed has been in financial and estate planning since the late 1980s. As a NAFEP Associate he has become one of the nation’s top experts in private annuity planning for clients selling appreciated real estate.
Earl C. Stevenson, Jr.,
ChFC, CLU, CSA, CEA®, Charis Financial Group, Uniontown, Pennsylvania. Mr. Stevenson has operated a successful financial and estate planning practice since 1976, and helped NAFEP develop charitable foundation creation services.
William E. Hopkins,
RFP, CEA®, Broker-Dealer, William E. Hopkins & Assoc., Inc., Jackson, Tennessee. Mr. Hopkins has been in financial and estate planning since 1980. Mr. Hopkins’ brokerage firm integrated NAFEP estate planning as a key element of the brokerage’s service.
John E. Davis, Sr.,
CEA Chicago Investment Advisory Council, Inc., Chicago, Illinois. Mr. Davis’ organization is a registered investment advisory firm. As a NAFEP Associate, Mr. Davis teaches a detailed course on and assists a large number of student clients with estate planning.
Robert (Rusty) Tweed,
RIA Representative, CEA, with Tweed Financial Services, San Marino, California. Mr. Tweed has been a financial and estate planner since 1992. He has been instrumental in developing marketing concepts for NAFEP’s Premier II Life Estate Trust and Premier VI Private Annuity/Trust, and is one of NAFEP’s most successful Associates with those two programs.
Dan Cordoba,
CEA and Principal of Asset Exchange Strategies, LLC, Mr. Cordoba financial career began in the mergers and acquisition market from 1993 to 1997. He then entered the financial services industry in 1997 and has offered his clients the ability to self -direct retirement assets since 2000. Mr. Cordoba is also licensed by the state of Texas to be able to instruct Realtors on real estate investment options.
