NAFEP MANAGEMENT TEAM

Scott Janko, President,BBA Bus, MSM Bus, CEA®. Scott Janko has over twenty years experience in executive management positions with several small and Fortune 500 firms. Immediately before joining NAFEP he spent 6 years as Senior Consultant at IBM, where he created management systems for and provided consulting to Fortune 500 companies. His primary areas of responsibility at NAFEP are sales, marketing, product development, finance, CEA® Program management, and overall business development and strategy.

Roy Barker, VP Operations, BS Economics, CEA®. Roy Barker had ten years experience in business operations and management prior to joining NAFEP. His NAFEP responsibilities include oversight of all trust, entity and other document creation, production, assembly and shipping activities. Mr. Barker is in charge of the NAFEP estate planning consulting which is provided to CEA® members. Roy's economics background is instrumental in allowing him to support mathematical and actuarial calculations which are necessary in private annuity creation and consulting.

Brian Tillotson, General Counsel, BBA in Mgmt Info Systems, JD, Attorney. Brian Tillotson is a member of the American Bar Association's business law, taxation, real property, and estate planning sections and the Utah State Bar's real property, estate planning, and banking and finance sections. As corporate counsel, he advises NAFEP on federal law issues related to complex business, tax, real estate and retirement planning structures. Mr. Tillotson also possesses over fifteen years of business systems and management experience. He is currently completing a Master of Science in Finance degree from the University of Utah.

Don Sewell, Tax & Trust Consultant, B.S. Accounting, Masters of Professional Accounting in Tax. Don Sewell taught accounting at Weber State University and Salt Lake Community College. He spent ten years at Utah Power/Pacificorp as Supervisor of Tax Compliance, and another ten years as Fiduciary Tax Administrator and Trust Tax Officer for Wells Fargo Bank. At the Bank, he prepared over 4,000 trust and numerous estate tax returns, and provided in-depth consulting to clients and employees. Mr. Sewell provides tax and private annuity consultation to NAFEP clients and CEA® members.

Ben Barker, Finance & Accounting Officer, B.S. Finance, CEA®. Ben Barker (no relation to Roy Barker, above) previously was Accounting Manager for a retail outlet chain, was a financial analyst for an educational firm and is expert with several accounting software packages. At NAFEP, he is in charge of finance and accounting. Mr. Barker has an additional NAFEP role as product manager for corporations and LLCs, meaning that he provides consulting and does research on matters related to the creation and implementation of these entities for NAFEP clients and CEA® members.

Jeff Reed, V.P. Sales, CEA®. BS Business Administration, 15 years as a financial service professional. Possessing vast knowledge in combining various estate planning strategies to maximize investment yields for retirement, Jeff prides himself in being one of the nation's leading experts on the timeless concept of the Private Annuity Trust (PAT), even being quoted in The Wall Street Journal as saying that "Private Annuity Trusts are one of the fastest growing exit strategies in the country." With that being said, Jeff is the author of the book Private Annuity Trust in which he shares uncommon resources and avenues to further enhance and preserve growth.
